About Piercen Meier
May 13, 2003 - June 9th, 2025
(Forever 22)
Piercen was a gifted MHHS Hawks football player until his
graduation in 2021. In his grade 10 rookie year, Piercen shared
the title of "Rookie of the Year" with another teammate, and in
grade 12, he was named MVP in the district. Piercen went on to
Western University with a full scholarship, where his team won
the Vanier Cup that year.
Although football was a passion for Piercen, he left the sport
behind to return to furthering education where he got his
journeyman Crane Ticket and his real estate license
simultaneously.
Tragically, in 2025 at the age of 22, Piercen left
this world far too early and it has left a huge gap in the lives of his
family and anyone that knew him. In his memory, the Meier family
has proudly partnered together with the Hawks Football Program
and the Quast Family to celebrate the legacies of two young men
who both shared a love for football and the MHHS Hawks Football
Organization.
Suicide Prevention
Young people face significant internal and external stressors, including social, physiological, and neurological change. Being an adolescent can involve many challenges. When facing them, some may feel trapped and need support to help them see hope for the future. Thoughts of suicide or suicide attempts are key warning signs. If young people show these signs, it is crucial to offer support and connect them to help as soon as possible.
